Don Imus – Mistakes
Don Imus said some things on his show that are insulting, stupid and demeaning. He also said “I’m not a bad person. I’m a good person, but I said a bad thing. But these young women deserve to know it was not said with malice,” he said.
So how does this sit with you? Have you ever said “bad things?” Have you ever said “bad things” without meaning any malice or cruelty? Of course we all have. Does that make us a bad person? Probably not.
I am not defending saying “bad things.” What I am talking about is being human and being a better you.
What is your standard of being a good person who may sometimes say “bad things?” We all make mistakes. We can all be hurt by our mistakes. Likewise we can also feel hurt by someone else’s mistakes.
So how do you deal with mistakes? How much power do you give them in your life? I did a goggle search on the word mistakes. There are 62,600,000 posts on mistakes. I suppose mistakes are common and people want information about them.
I found a great post that tells you all you want to know about mistakes. This post is extensive. It is definitely something you should look at .
As always it is your life. As always it is up to you to decide for yourself.
